What is the difference between a servo press and a hydraulic press?
An electric servo press is driven by a servo motor, so force, position, speed and stroke are fully programmable and monitored on every cycle. It is ideal for precision assembly and energy-efficient production. A hydraulic press uses fluid pressure to generate very high force at a balanced cost, which suits forming, forging, moulding and heavy-duty work.
What tonnage range does GreenPress® offer?
Electric servo presses are available from 0.1 to 100 ton. Hydraulic presses are available from 1 to 1,000 ton, with 4-pillar designs available for larger requirements.
Can the press be supplied with tooling for my part?
Yes. Most GreenPress® machines are delivered tooled-up for the customer's component — for example bearing pressing, shaft and gear pressing, Woodruff key pressing, seal pressing, ball-joint forming and transmission assembly.
What safety features are available?
Depending on the model: safety light curtains, two-hand push buttons, full safety enclosures or steel mesh guarding, pneumatic gap-check sensors and fingerprint access / fault reset.
